Proposal Selection and Notification Procedure [back up top]
An invitation to submit a proposal is not a guarantee that the proposal will be accepted and placed on the conference program. Invited proposals are afforded a higher level of consideration. The Program Committee considers a number of variables to build a balanced conference programs. All proposals are considered and appreciated. Unfortunately, not all proposals can be accepted and included in the program due to limited available space.

All proposals must be submitted online by April 15, 2009.

No online proposal will be received between April 16, 2009, and May 4, 2009. Proposals received after April 15 will not be placed on the preliminary conference program and are not likely to be included in the conference program. Late proposals will be regarded as “substitute” proposals that may be utilized to replace a cancelled session if the presenter is still available. Substitutions for cancelled sessions are normally added between October 1 and November 1.

Speakers who submit a proposal will be notified via e-mail by June 5, 2009, if one or more of their proposals are included or not included in the conference program for 2009.

If you do not receive notification by July 1, 2009, then contact a member of the program committee or Ellen Barger, Program Committee Chair, at ellen.barger@gmail.com.
